Charli XCX’s Glastonbury Set Is Finally Here To Watch In Full

It may have been a week since Glastonbury but for all music-lovers across the world, the memories live on. Charli XCX was one of the opening acts over the weekend but her set was nowhere to be found on BBC Iplayer. Luckily, for all of Charli’s angels, there is now a full video of her performance here…

The Boom Clap-singer took to the Other Stage on the Friday of the festival to bring her electronic-pop sound to Glastonbury.

Charli XCX’s Mixtape Number 1 Angel is one of the most underrated pieces of work this year.

The early afternoon set and sober attendees isn’t what Charli XCX, one of the most hardcore popstars out there, is used to. Her mixtape Number 1 Angel is a futuristic sounding work of huge importance that is currently placed on the electronic scene thanks to the involvement of producer SOPHIE and A.G. Cook.

However, this wasn’t going to stop Charli. From the second the bombshell bounded on stage her explosive energy allowed the crowd no time to contemplate getting involved. Opening with the feel-good dance track ‘Roll With Me’, XCX commanded the stage like the pop royalty she has become and with hits such as ‘I Love It’, ‘Fancy’ and ‘Vroom Vroom’ dotted into the set there was many a moment to remember.

From the second the bombshell bounded on stage her explosive energy allowed the crowd no time to contemplate getting involved.

The closing on ‘Boom Clap’ was inevitable. Cannons firing pink confetti into the sky during the last chorus allowed Charli XCX to leave the stage knowing full well that she had well and truly got Glastonbury kicking.

Check out the whole set below! The video may not feature the BBC’s camera angles but it is, without doubt, worth watching XCX’s showstopper of a performance.
