Avicii’s Huge Return With New Smash Hits Is Just Hours Away

Avicii may have announced the end of his touring career but that has not stopped him being busy in the studio readying some huge new club anthems. His lastest EP will be released globally tomorrow and there are some big name collaborations to look out for!

The man behind tracks such as ‘Wake Me Up’, ‘Waiting For Love’ and ‘Hey Brother’ is one of the very biggest names in the EDM world and has a global following. His live shows became famed thanks to his abilities and prolific touring schedule. Now, these have come to an end, Avicii has been knuckling down and working on his new self-titled EP, out Thursday 10th August. Here are the tracks to listen out for!

  1. Friend of Mine (feat. Vargas & Lagola)

The track that kicks off the EP really sets the sound for what to expect – a clear move towards a tropical sound.

2. Lonely Together (feat. Rita Ora)

Arguably the most exciting collaboration sees a team up with British popstar Rita Ora. Ora’s latest single ‘Your Song’ has enjoyed incredible chart success this summer and ‘Lonely Together’ will be her next taste of new music!

3. You Be Love (feat. Billy Raffoul)

‘You Be Love’ is the most traditional sounding Avicii track on the EP, with strong hints of ‘Waiting For Love’.

4. Without You (feat. Sandro Cavazza)

Check out that drop on ‘Without You’!

5. What Would I Change It To (feat. AlunaGeorge)

The most intriguing collaboration on tomorrow’s EP comes with AlunaGeorge. The singer is the voice behind some of the biggest house and EDM hits of the last decade thanks to work with the likes of Jack Ü and Disclosure. ‘What Would I Change It To’ is a more laid-back effort from Avicii but sounds oh so summery!

6. So Much Better (Avicii Remix)

The final track on the EP has not been teased by the DJ but is a remix of Sandro Cavazza’s single ‘So Much Better’. We will have already heard Cavazza on the album in ‘Without You’ but what will the remix of his own single sound like?
